How to use

Use Paranix Head Lice Repellent Spray daily during a lice infestation in your area to protect against head lice, or use it immediately after a head lice treatment to prevent a new infestation.

Follow the instructions for use. There must be no lice present.

• If necessary, use a pediculicide first. The product only repels new infestations. After application, the product repels head lice for up to 24 hours.
• Apply to clean, towel-dried hair every morning after styling as usual.
• Spray the product on the hair near the scalp (between 2-5 cm) on the entire hair like a hair lacquer. Cover the entire hair, paying particular attention to the areas at the nape of the neck and behind the ears. The scalp and hair should be sufficiently moisturised.
• Children 2 years and older: Apply up to 11 sprays to children's hair. Adults: Apply up to 22 sprays to scalp hair to completely and thoroughly wet all hair on the scalp. Spray the rest of the hair to wet it completely.
• Dry the hair naturally and without applying heat. Do not use a hair dryer.
• The application must be repeated after washing the hair.

Suitable for use by adults and children from 2 years of age. Inform the marketing authorisation holder if the treatment is ineffective.

For external use only. When spraying indoors, ensure that the room is well ventilated and that the spray is not inhaled. Do not spray into the eyes. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, nose, lips and damaged skin. For use on children's hair: The product must be used by adults. The product is not intended for use on animals/pets. Do not use in the presence of animals/pets. Avoid inhalation of vapours/spray. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.

Caution: First-aid measures: IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Give something to drink if the affected person is able to swallow. DO NOT induce vomiting. Call a POISON CENTER (+43 1406 43 43) or doctor. IF ON SKIN: In case of skin irritation, rinse with water and seek medical advice. In case of accidental skin contact: Wash with water. IF INHALED: If symptoms occur, call a POISON CENTER (+43 1406 43 43) or doctor. Methods for cleaning up/ absorption: Bind to sand, earth or similar adsorbent material. Place in a container for disposal. Dispose of collected material according to regulations.

Flammable liquid and vapour Causes serious eye irritation. Contains alpha- and beta-pinene and limonene. May cause an allergic reaction. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. Do not smoke, keep cool. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Seek medical advice.
