PERIO AID® Intensive Care Gel combats plaque during daily toothbrushing. A gel for toothbrushing and topical application containing 0.12% chlorhexidine.

Thanks to its formulation containing 0.12% chlorhexidine and its consistency, the dental gel can be used both for brushing teeth and for direct application to the affected areas. Mouthwashes containing PERIO·AID® Active Control can also be used as a complementary treatment.

Directions for use

Brush your teeth thoroughly at least twice a day, paying particular attention to the affected areas. DO NOT SWALLOW. This gel can also be applied topically.
Notes: Keep out of reach of children. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients. In some cases, changes in taste perception may occur during use; however, these generally subside over time. This product contains chlorhexidine, an ingredient that may cause temporary discolouration of the teeth and tongue. This discolouration usually only occurs after prolonged use of the product and upon contact with certain foods and drinks, such as red wine, coffee, tea and tobacco. This discolouration is not permanent and can be prevented by thorough brushing and the use of interdental brushes before using the mouthwash. Any discolouration can also be easily removed by your dentist.
