- In simple terms, FODMAPs are a group of carbohydrates and sugar alcohols that are found in many foods and are poorly absorbed in the small intestine. The OMNi-POWER® GUT BAR was developed without this type of carbohydrate in order to maximise digestibility.
- Too many FODMAPS can cause discomfort such as bloating, abdominal pain and even diarrhoea.
- A simple change, such as switching from a bar with a high FODMAP content to an alternative with a LOW FODMAP certification, can be enough to combat the symptoms.
