OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS is a dietary supplement with valuable dietary fibres for intestinal bacteria.

Who is OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS suitable for?

An imbalance of specific intestinal bacteria can lead to increased inflammation in the intestine, so-called "silent inflammation". The bacteria Akkermansia muciniphila and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii counteract this development: Akkermansia muciniphila is responsible for the production of highly viscous mucus and helps to strengthen the intestinal barrier with this mucus layer so that foreign germs and harmful substances cannot pass through the intestinal mucosa and enter the bloodstream.

Faecalibacterium prausnitzii , on the other hand, is able to produce special fatty acids, including butyric acid (= butyrate), which has anti-inflammatory properties, but above all also supplies the intestinal mucosa with energy and thus strengthens the "tight junctions". These are the junctions (membrane proteins) between the cells of the intestinal mucosa that ensure that important nutrients are selected and separated from harmful substances.

Inflammation in the intestines often occurs in overweight people, as special fat cells in the abdomen produce pro-inflammatory cytokines that can damage the entire organism.

How does OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS work?

Many years of scientific work have investigated which nutrients need to be supplied to our gut so that it can optimally fulfil its functions.

OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS contains a special combination of high-quality vitamins, minerals and trace elements as well as valuable short-chain carbohydrates, so-called fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), which serve as food for certain bacteria:

• The vitamin B2 it contains helps to maintain normal mucosal function and helps to protect cells from oxidative stress. Calcium plays an important role in the normal function of digestive enzymes and vitamin D & zinc contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
• Fructo-oligosaccharides and galacto-oligosaccharides (FOS/GOS) are special carbohydrates that serve as food for certain bacteria. They stimulate the multiplication of the specific bacteria Akkermansia muciniphila and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii as well as the conversion of food to short-chain fatty acids (such as butyrate).
• Glucomannan has been shown to contribute to weight loss as part of an energy-balanced diet.

Pro- and prebiotics

The supply of viable symbionts (= probiotics) strengthens the "good" intestinal bacteria. These bacterial strains also need oxygen for their metabolism - these are so-called aerobic or mostly only facultatively anaerobic bacteria.

However, not all bacterial strains can simply be "ingested" - a large proportion of our intestinal bacteria are strictly anaerobic and therefore cannot be cultivated and stored outside the body. As soon as they encounter oxygen, they die. This is why our anaerobic friends need special food (= prebiotics): If we feed these bacteria with their favourite foods, we create an optimal habitat for them in our gut. As a thank you, the "good" intestinal inhabitants multiply and fulfil their task optimally.

Directions for use

• Stir 5 g (5 g = 1 level measuring spoon) into 0.2 litres of water/juice etc. 3 times a day and drink immediately (activation time is not required). The positive effect of glucomannan is achieved with a daily intake of 3 g in three portions of 1 g each in combination with 1-2 glasses of water before meals.
• Combine OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS with the proven OMNi-BiOTiC® STRESS Repair: Reduces inflammation in the intestines caused by prolonged stress and extreme strain. It is essential to take the product with plenty of liquid so that it reaches the stomach, otherwise there is a risk of choking for consumers with swallowing difficulties or insufficient fluid intake.
