You will receive valuable information about the state of your gut microbiome: How diverse is the composition of your gut flora, is there an imbalance caused by pathogenic bacteria, and what vulnerabilities are present?

How does OMNi-BiOTiC SCAN® work?

OMNi-BiOTiC SCAN® is a gut bacteria analysis: you will receive a test kit for collecting a stool sample at home, which you can easily carry out and then send to our partner laboratory.
The microbiome analysis (gut bacteria analysis) of your stool sample is carried out at our partner laboratory. The gut bacteria present in your gut are identified and analysed on the basis of your DNA – using state-of-the-art scientific methods from the field of molecular genetics.
You will receive the results of your microbiome analysis by email and, based on these results, a personalised action plan and dietary recommendations to optimise the health of your gut flora and improve your wellbeing

Packaging

Test kit: 1 set of test instructions, 2 stool collection cups, 1 transport tube, 1 stool collection tube (located inside the transport tube), a card with a barcode label and an 8-digit code (please ensure you keep this safe!), 1 request form, 1 brown, padded envelope, 1 postal envelope, 1 shipping label for dispatch within Austria, 1 shipping label for dispatch within Germany.

Instructions

Collect the stool sample as per the test instructions.
Register the sample online.
Post the sample free of charge. (Only within Austria and Germany)
Receive your microbiome report within 2–3 weeks.

Notes: OMNi-BiOTiC SCAN® is not suitable for children under 4 years of age. Do not carry out an OMNi-BiOTiC SCAN® if you are currently taking antibiotics, have watery diarrhoea or are suffering from a notifiable infectious disease.
