OMNi-BiOTiC® 6 is a dietary supplement containing highly active key bacterial strains; it contains six important, highly active key bacterial strains that colonise the gut. This enables the gut bacteria to perform vital functions.

Who is OMNi-BiOTiC® 6 suitable for?
“Health begins in the gut!” – This insight is as old as medicine itself. As far back as the 4,000-year-old writings of Ayurvedic healers, the gut is described as the centre of well-being. And modern science confirms this insight! Only when our digestion is working properly do we feel completely at ease. This is because the gut, with its billions of microorganisms, controls the majority of all metabolic processes in our body; it produces vital vitamins, enzymes and amino acids, and neutralises all harmful substances that enter our system via food.

Nowhere else in the body does such intense contact with foreign substances take place as in the gut. This is where healthy food ends up, as do all artificial colourings, emulsifiers and preservatives. That is why our intestinal wall needs an extremely effective protective barrier in the form of healthy bacteria, to ensure that anything potentially harmful does not penetrate our intestinal wall and thus enter the bloodstream.

‘Pro Bios’ means ‘For life’
As early as 100 years ago, the famous Russian doctor and Nobel laureate Dr Ilja Metchnikoff recognised: “Death lies in the gut”. He had discovered that those peoples in the Caucasus who consumed lactic acid products (= probiotics) daily were particularly healthy and resilient, and lived to a very old age.
Today we know why! The gut is home to the body’s most highly developed defence system. This is where the immune cells are produced that keep our bodies free from toxins and foreign bacteria and viruses. A healthy gut contains three times as many immune cells as the spleen, bone marrow and lymph nodes combined.
These cells bolster our immune defences, but can only be produced in the gut if there are sufficient healthy bacteria to process the food mass correctly at all times, thereby preventing any fermentation or putrefaction. In a healthy person, many billions of gut bacteria work every day to ensure that our digestion functions properly and that we feel our best.

How to keep your gut healthy:
  • Ensure regular bowel movements without using laxatives
  • Eat plenty of vegetables, rice and potatoes, and keep sugar and fat to a minimum
  • Avoid preservatives in your food
  • Drink 2 litres of fresh water every day!
  • Get plenty of exercise in the fresh air
  • Learn to manage stress and a hectic lifestyle – both at work and at home
  • Avoid taking medication unnecessarily
  • Consume active gut bacteria daily to replenish the daily loss caused by poor diet and stress

The presence of the six most important strains of active gut bacteria – namely various lactobacilli, bifidobacteria and enterococci – is essential for the long-term elimination of toxins and putrefactive bacteria from the digestive system.

Directions for use
  • Method of use: Each day before going to bed, dissolve one teaspoon of OMNi-BiOTiC® 6 (= 2 grams) in 1/8 litre of water, allow 10 minutes for activation, stir again and then drink. If you wish to provide extra support for your digestion, take OMNi-BiOTiC® 6 twice daily, ideally early in the morning and just before going to bed, on an empty stomach where possible, so that the active microorganisms reach the gut particularly quickly.
  • Duration of use: It is advisable to take OMNi-BiOTiC® 6 for at least four weeks. As OMNi-BiOTiC® 6 is not a medicine but a probiotic food product, you can take this valuable product daily.
  • OMNi-BiOTiC® 6 is free from animal protein, gluten, yeast and lactose and is therefore also suitable for diabetics, as well as for people with milk or lactose intolerance. OMNi-BiOTiC® 6 is safe to take during pregnancy and is also suitable for children!

Ingredients

Maize starch, maltodextrin, fructooligosaccharides (FOS), inulin, polydextrose, potassium chloride, bacterial strains*, vegetable protein (rice), magnesium sulphate, enzymes (amylases), manganese sulphate.

The combination of these six bacterial strains enhances the effectiveness of each individual strain. The addition of so-called prebiotics – dietary fibres that act as a nutrient source for healthy bacteria – specifically promotes the growth of healthy gut flora. In OMNi-BiOTiC® 6, we use the dietary fibre FOS, a natural substance derived from chicory root. FOS is not absorbed by the human gut and is available exclusively as a food source for bifidobacteria and lactobacilli.
