A persistent feeling of exhaustion, sluggishness and malaise can indicate that the organism is over-acidified and metabolic functions are impaired. To balance the acid-base balance and enable the metabolic organs to fulfil their normal functions again, the body must be supplied with alkaline electrolytes such as calcium, potassium and magnesium on a daily basis. These neutralise excess metabolic acids and thus counteract hyperacidity.
