OCUhyl C Eye Drops Multidose are sterile eye drops with a moisturising and soothing effect that are particularly suitable for sensitive eyes.

Thanks to their hyaluronic acid content (a natural component of the eyes and other parts of the body), these eye drops provide long-lasting comfort and effective relief from perceived dryness, "burning" and eye fatigue.

OCUhyl C eye drops are also enriched with natural calendula extract, which has a protective, anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect on the epithelium of the eye. OCUhyl C contains no preservatives or antimicrobial additives, which is why these drops are also intended for people with sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. OCUhyl C can be used by adults, adolescents and children.

OCUhyl C is intended for external administration into the eye. It is used as a complementary therapy for low tear production, conditions of perceived dryness and foreign body sensation in the eye, as well as for tired or irritated/"burning" eyes. OCUhyl C is also used to support the protective tear film on the cornea and conjunctiva of the eye. OCUhyl C can also be used while wearing contact lenses.

Properties

Hyaluronic acid:

  • An endogenous substance which, thanks to its enormous ability to bind water and its good tolerability profile, is the best therapy for dry eye syndrome
  • Hyaluronic acid forms a long-lasting, stable tear film on the surface of the eye, protecting the eye from irritation and dehydration
  • Has excellent tolerability
The natural calendula extract:

  • Has a protective, anti-inflammatory and regenerating effect on the epithelial layer of the eye
BSS:

  • An ophthalmic and isotonic solution that maintains a healthy corneal surface
Indications

  • Moisturises the surface of the eye and also serves
  • As a substitute for insufficient tear formation (dry eye syndrome)
  • Relieves the sensation of foreign bodies in the eye and the feeling of burning and tiredness
  • After eye operations
  • Suitable for all types of contact lenses
  • Can be used for adults, adolescents and children


Dosage form
Eye drops - multi-dose

Application
Individually, normally 1 to 3 times daily 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the eye. If necessary, 1-2 drops can also be used every hour. The preparation can be used by adults, adolescents and children who work a lot with PCs.

Ingredients
Composition: Sodium hyaluronate 1.2 mg/ml. Excipients: Calendula extract, sodium chloride, sodium acetate, sodium citrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and water for injection.
