Nutricia Milupa basic-f powder is a food for special medical purposes (formula diet). For dietary management of disorders of fat metabolism requiring a low-fat or fat-modified diet, e.g. disorders of fat digestion and absorption, chylothorax or disorders of fatty acid β-oxidation.
A very low-fat (< 0.1 g/100 ml) specialised formula made from milk protein and carbohydrates, fortified with age-appropriate vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Directions for use
- As Milupa basic-f contains very little fat, a modified fat intake (MCT, LCT) adapted to the individual’s metabolic status and tolerance is required.
- The diet requires an additional intake of essential fatty acids and energy tailored to the patient’s needs. The total daily amount is determined under medical supervision and depends on the patient’s age, body weight and individual metabolic status. It is adjusted under regular monitoring of the current metabolic status.
- Notes: Use only under medical supervision. For infants and young children. Not suitable as the sole source of nutrition. Suitable for enteral nutrition only.
