Nutricia Milupa basic-f powder is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet). For the dietary management of disorders of fat metabolism that require a low-fat or fat-modified diet, e.g. fat digestion and absorption disorders, chylothorax or disorders of fatty acid β-oxidation.
A very low-fat (< 0.1 g /100 ml) speciality food made from milk protein and carbohydrates, age-appropriately enriched with vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Directions for use
- As Milupa basic-f contains hardly any fat, a modified fat intake (MCT, LCT) adapted to the individual metabolic situation and tolerance is required.
- The diet requires a needs-based additional intake of essential fatty acids and energy. The total daily amount is determined under medical supervision and depends on the patient's age, body weight and individual metabolic situation. It is adjusted to the current metabolic situation under regular supervision.
- Notes: Only use under medical supervision. For infants and small children. Not suitable for exclusive nutrition. Only suitable for enteral nutrition.
