Nutricia Milupa basic-CaD powder is a food for special medical purposes (formula diet). For dietary management of disorders of calcium metabolism, e.g. hypercalcaemia/hypercalciuria or osteopetrosis.
A specialised food comprising milk protein, fat, vitamins, minerals and trace elements, with a very low calcium content and no added vitamin D.

Directions for use
- The total daily dose is determined under medical supervision and depends on the patient’s age, body weight and individual metabolic status. It is adjusted to the patient’s current metabolic status under regular medical supervision.
- Milupa basic-CaD can be given ad libitum, under regular medical supervision of calcium metabolism, in the same way as conventional infant formula.
- Notes: Use only under medical supervision. For infants and young children. Not suitable for exclusive feeding. Suitable for enteral feeding only.
