Nutribound is a dietary food for dogs consisting of a combination of essential nutrients for the early and gradual recovery of dogs.
Nutribound is a highly palatable, ready-to-use oral solution that stimulates food and fluid intake. Due to its content of essential nutrients, which are particularly necessary for the ideal convalescence of animals from the very early stages (e.g. as early as 2 hours after awakening from anaesthesia), it shortens the convalescence period by optimally promoting the recovery of the metabolism and the immune system.
Properties
Nutribound is a highly palatable, ready-to-use oral solution that stimulates food and fluid intake. Without artificial preservatives and colourings.
- Arginine - amino acid: precursor of nitric oxide, which plays an important role in the immune system, wound healing and cell division.
- Taurine - amino acid derivative with antioxidant properties. Essential for the cardiovascular system; plays an important role in skeletal muscles, the retina and the central nervous system.
- Glutamine - Important role in maintaining the integrity of the gastrointestinal tract and for the immune system.
- Essential fatty acids (omega 3 and omega 6) - These fatty acids are necessary for biological processes such as the renewal of phospholipids and sterols, for cell growth and repair and for the synthesis of prostaglandins, leukotrienes and thromboxanes.
- Prebiotics (inulin, oligofructose) - Prebiotics are natural, soluble fibres found in small amounts in many plants. They stimulate the growth and activity of the physiological intestinal flora.
- Vitamins - Important organic compounds for the organism, which must be taken in with food or specific supplements.
Dosage form
Oral solution - 3 bottles of 150 ml
Directions for use
- When opening the bottle for the first time, unscrew the white cap and remove the safety film.
- Shake well before use. It is normal for sedimentation to occur
- Dosage: If the general condition of the animal is doubtful, it is recommended to seek the advice of a vet. Nutribound can be administered undiluted, in the drinking water or in the feed. Fresh water should be available at all times. Use the enclosed measuring cup for an exact dosage and administer Nutribound as follows:
Weight - Nutribound (ml/day)
- 0 - 10 kg - 15 - 30 (ml/day)
- 10 - 20 kg - 30 - 50 (ml/day)
- > 20 kg - 50 - 70 (ml/day)

Nutribound can be administered throughout convalescence, from the earliest stages until the dog returns to its normal diet. It is recommended to gradually switch the dog to its usual diet:
- Start phase From the first hours of convalescence, the dog can be given Nutribound to ensure rehydration and the supply of essential nutrients.
- Follow-up phase Food intake should be started after 48 hours at the latest. In addition to the administration of Nutribound, the repeated intake of small amounts of high-energy and highly digestible nutrients (e.g. Nutri-plus gel from Virbac) is recommended.
- Changeover phase Nutribound can be administered in addition to the usual food to support the animal during the changeover to its normal eating habits.
The liquid dosage form allows administration by syringe or tube.
Ingredients
- Composition: Meat and animal by-products (sources of arginine, taurine and glutamine (4.74 %); vegetable by-products, oils and fats (1.29 %), minerals (0.69 %), chicory inulin (0.30 %), fructooligosaccharides (0.11 %).
- Additives per kg Vitamins: Vitamin A (E672) 4212 IU, vitamin D3 (E671) 150 IU, vitamin E, 3a700 84.2 mg, vitamin B1, 3a 11.7 mg, vitamin B2, 3a 12.3 mg, vitamin B6, 3a831 22.3 mg, biotin, 3a 0.14 mg, choline chloride, 3a890 561 mg.
- Additives per kg trace elements: manganese sulphate, E5: 2.7 mg, zinc sulphate, E6: 7.5 mg, iron, E1: 17 mg, manganese, E5: 2.7 mg, zinc E6: 7.5 mg.
- Analytical constituents: moisture 87.9 %, crude protein 2.7 %, crude fat 1.9 %, essential fatty acids: omega 3: 3.8 % (EPA: 0.1 %, DHA: 0.1 %), omega 6: 24.8 %), crude ash 1 %, crude fibre >0.8 %, glutamine 0.33 %, arginine 0.14 %, taurine 0.06 %.
Shelf life: Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 7 days.
