High-quality Noba 8-ply non-sterile gauze pads for wound care. Absorbent, soft and versatile. Ideal for initial treatment and wound cleansing.
Unsterilised, 8-ply gauze pads made from 17-thread surgical gauze, measuring 10 cm x 10 cm, 100 pieces per pack, with edges folded inwards. The gauze pad is intended for general first aid treatment of wounds, for cleaning wounds, for covering wounds and for absorbing blood and bodily fluids. The gauze pad is intended for single use only.
The non-sterile gauze compress with folded edges is manufactured from surgical gauze in accordance with the specifications of: EN 14079 Type 17. They are packaged in a sterilisable paper bag. The compresses must be sterilised using a validated method before being used on open wounds.

Usage
Notes: The product should be sterilised using a validated method before use on open wounds. The product can be sterilised using moist heat at 121°C/134°C, 2 to 3 bar, in accordance with DIN EN 17665, irradiation in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11137 or ethylene oxide in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11135.
