How to use
- Apply approx. 1 cm of ointment to each nostril several times a day. Insert the base of the tube as deeply as possible into each nostril, squeeze out a little ointment and spread it evenly over the nasal mucosa by gently massaging the nostrils. The inner nasal surfaces can also be coated with a cotton bud to which Nisita® Nasal Ointment is applied. Applications should be made several times a day, especially before going to bed.
- Instructions for use: For reasons of hygiene and to avoid infection, it should be noted that each dosing unit should only be used by one person. The base of the tube should be wiped off after use.
- Duration of use: If necessary, Nisita® Nasal Ointment can also be used over a longer period of time. If there is no improvement after 14 days of treatment, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- Notes: Nisita® Nasal Ointment should always be kept in the folding box during everyday use to prevent possible damage to the tube, e.g. by sharp, hard objects. Nisita® Nasal Ointment contains a mixture of liquid and solid fats as an ointment base, which can change if the preparation is not stored as prescribed (below 15° C or above 25° C). At higher temperatures, the ointment can segregate, so that some oil initially escapes from the tube opening when the preparation is applied, while cool storage can make it somewhat more difficult to remove the ointment. For optimum removal, the ointment should always be squeezed out of the tube from the back to the front in order to prevent any damage to the tube, which can be caused by repeated bending, for example.
