NimmNem Vitamin K2 MK-7 drops are a food supplement with 25 µg vitamin K2 per drop.

Few people are aware of the importance of vitamin K2 for our body. Vitamin K2 actively contributes to bone formation and also plays a role in vascular elasticity. Vitamin K2 as menaquinone MK-7 with 100% all-trans isomers is highly bioavailable. MK-7 refers to the length of the side chain or the number of isoprenoid units. There are variants of vitamin K2 up to MK-13. It is known that the length of the side chain determines the effectiveness of vitamin K2. The K2 form MK-7 is by far the most effective form.

Of these, only the all-trans form is active, the other (inactive form) is known as cis-isomers, which are biologically inactive and have no effect. Vitamin K2 is one of the fat-soluble vitamins and is a centuries-old Japanese tradition, originating from the samurai warriors who took it in the form of Nattō to increase their strength and accelerate their reflexes.

Nattō as a source has the disadvantage that it also contains significant amounts of vitamin K1, which has an influence on blood clotting.

How to use

We recommend 4 drops daily. Drip directly into the mouth. Avoid contact between pipette and mouth due to possible bacteria formation. The drops can also be taken with a spoon. For children, it is recommended to add the drops to a drink or food.
Advice: Not suitable for pregnant women, nursing mothers, children and adolescents. If you are taking blood-thinning medication, discuss the intake of K2 with your doctor in advance.
