NimmNem Vitamin K2 MK-7 drops are a dietary supplement containing 25 µg of vitamin K2 per drop.

Few people are yet aware of the importance of vitamin K2 for our bodies. Vitamin K2 actively contributes to bone formation and also plays a role in maintaining vascular elasticity. Vitamin K2 in the form of menaquinone MK-7, containing 100% all-trans isomers, is highly bioavailable. MK-7 refers to the length of the side chain, or the number of isoprenoid units. Variants of vitamin K2 exist up to MK-13. It is known that the length of the side chain determines the efficacy of vitamin K2. The K2 form MK-7 is by far the most effective form.

Of these, only the all-trans form is active; the other (inactive) form is known as the cis isomer, which is biologically inactive and has no effect. Vitamin K2 is a fat-soluble vitamin. It is a centuries-old Japanese tradition, originating with the samurai warriors, who consumed it in the form of nattō to increase their strength and improve their reflexes.

Nattō, as a source, has the disadvantage that it also contains significant amounts of vitamin K1, which affects blood clotting.

Directions for use

We recommend 4 drops daily. Drop directly into the mouth. Avoid contact between the pipette and the mouth to prevent bacterial growth. The drops can also be taken using a spoon. For children, it is advisable to mix the drops into a drink or food.
Notes: Not suitable for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children or adolescents. If you are taking blood-thinning medication, please discuss taking K2 with your doctor beforehand.
