Nestlé Instant Protein Powder is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet). This casein-based protein concentrate powder is suitable for dietary management in cases of existing malnutrition or where there is a risk of malnutrition.

Indications
For dietary management in cases of existing malnutrition
or where there is a risk of malnutrition and/or:
- In cases of increased protein requirements
- In cases of impaired wound healing
- Following major surgery
- For dialysis patients

- Carbohydrates: The carbohydrate content is very low at 0.60 g per 100 g.
- Protein: Instant Protein is a protein concentrate with high biological value. It contains 91% high-quality casein.

Directions for use
- For optimal preparation of drinks and meals, first dissolve the powder in a little lukewarm water. 10–15 g of powder (2–3 tablespoons) per 150 ml of liquid or 150 g of puréed food. The total amount should be adjusted to the age and nutritional needs of the patient.
- Notes: Use under medical supervision. Suitable for children aged 3 years and over. Not suitable as the sole source of nutrition. Not for parenteral use.

- Ingredients: Milk protein, emulsifier (soya lecithin), anti-caking agent (tricalcium phosphate). May contain gluten and egg.
- Nutrients per 100 g: Energy 1594/375 kJ/kcal, Fat 1 g (of which saturated fatty acids 0.7 g), Carbohydrates 0.6 g (of which sugars 0.6 g – lactose 0.6 g), Protein 91 g, Salt < 0.1 g, sodium 15 mg, potassium 15 mg, chloride -, calcium 1450 mg, phosphorus 800 mg.
