NICApur mediBalance® STAT capsules are a dietary supplement with vitamins, minerals and coenzyme Q10 in the active ubiquinol form when taking cholesterol-lowering medication.

Taking statins can affect muscle and nerve function and lead to fatigue. The need for certain vitamins and minerals may increase. This can lead to a change in the nutrient balance of vitamin D, selenium, coenzyme Q10 and individual B vitamins, for example. A balanced vitamin D and magnesium level is essential, as both nutrients play an important role in maintaining normal muscle function. Niacin is also required, as the water-soluble vitamin from the B vitamin group supports energy metabolism and plays a role in reducing tiredness and fatigue. Selenium supports the body in protecting the cells from oxidative stress. Coenzyme Q10 exists in 2 forms, as ubiquinone and ubiquinol. Ubiquinone (non-active coenzyme Q10) is converted into the active form ubiquinol in the body. The contained ubiquinol form no longer needs to be activated in the organism. The water-soluble B vitamins B1, B2 and B6 support the organism in the normal functioning of the nervous system.
