NICApur mediBalance® PILCO capsules are a dietary supplement with selected vitamins and minerals when taking hormonal contraceptives (pill, contraceptive ring, patch, hormonal coil, Implanon or 3-month injection).
Health, performance and well-being are important for young women in the midst of life. The use of hormonal contraceptives can increase the need for certain vitamins and minerals. To maintain physical and mental well-being, there is mediBalance® Pilco, a specially formulated nutritional supplement when using "the pill" and other hormonal contraceptives such as rings, patches, IUDs, Implanon or 3-month injections. The vitamins it contains, such as folic acid and vitamin B6, are necessary to support mental functions and thus contribute to mental well-being. Vitamin B6 is required for hormone metabolism, the nervous system, the formation of red blood cells and immune function. Folic acid is necessary for cell division and haematopoiesis. Sufficiently filled stores are particularly important after stopping the pill if you want to have children. In addition to vitamin B6 and folic acid, hormonal contraception can also increase the need for other micronutrients such as magnesium, zinc and vitamins B12, B2 and C.

- Ingredients: Magnesium citrate, calcium L-ascorbate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell), zinc gluconate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, folic acid, hydroxocobalamin.
- Composition per daily dose (1 capsule * %NRV): Vitamin C 120 mg (150), vitamin B6 6 mg (429), vitamin B2 3.2 mg (229), folic acid 400 µg (200), vitamin B12 3.5 µg (140), magnesium 60 mg (16), zinc 5 mg (50). * % of the reference quantity according to EU Regulation 1169/2011.
