The Mollelast® Haft cohesive bi-elastic fixation bandage is a medical device used to secure dressings, cannulas, splints and other medical devices. It is made from a soft and breathable material.

This cohesive, bi-elastic fixation bandage, with its unique stretch properties, adheres to itself but not to the skin or hair. It is available in various versions to suit different needs: Mollelast haft, Mollelast haft colour and Mollelast haft latex-free. 

Mollelast haft is longitudinally elastic and transversely stretchable, which ensures a good, crease-free fit. This means the bandage can be applied perfectly even to tapered parts of the body and provides a secure hold even around joints thanks to its excellent interlayer bonding. The product also performs reliably whilst on the move: no constriction or slipping. 

Its good cohesive properties result from a micro-coating. The woven selvedges allow for effortless application and prevent fraying. The thinly knitted material is highly breathable and gentle on the skin. 

The bandage is used to secure, amongst other things, compresses, cannulas and cast splints (such as the Cellacast Longuette) and provides support, for example, in cases of minor sports injuries.
