Exufiber® is a gel-forming fibre dressing featuring Hydrolock® technology with advanced lock-in properties for trapping fluid, designed for moderate to heavily exuding wounds and wound cavities.

Exufiber® is a sterile, gel-forming fibre dressing. It is versatile, so you can use it for a wide variety of heavily exuding wounds and wound cavities, e.g. leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and surgical wounds. When Exufiber comes into contact with wound exudate, it forms a gel. This gel, in turn, helps to maintain a moist wound healing environment. Furthermore, the dressing is tear-resistant, so you can easily remove it in one piece when changing the dressing. Exufiber has high absorption and retention capacity, which reduces the risk of leakage and maceration. You can also use Exufiber in combination with the all-in-one foam dressings from the Mepilex Border range.
