Exufiber® is a gel-forming fibre dressing with Hydrolock® technology with advanced lock-in properties to trap fluid for moderate to heavily exuding wounds and wound cavities.

Exufiber® is a sterile, gel-forming fibre dressing. It is versatile, so you can use it for a wide range of heavily exuding wounds and wound cavities, e.g. leg and foot ulcers, pressure sores and surgical wounds. When Exufiber comes into contact with wound exudate, it forms a gel. The gel in turn ensures that a moist wound healing environment is maintained. The dressing is also tear-resistant, so you can easily remove it in one piece when changing the dressing. Exufiber has a high absorption and retention capacity, which reduces the risk of leakage and maceration. You can also use Exufiber in combination with the all-in-one foam dressings in the Mepilex Border range.
