The miradent plaque test has been tried and tested in dental practices for years. The tablets effectively stain dental plaque. Older plaque is shown in blue, newer plaque in pink. To carry out the plaque test, chew one tablet thoroughly (half a tablet is sufficient for children), spread it around the mouth with a little saliva, then spit it out carefully – that’s it! The staining can be easily removed by simply brushing your teeth.
