The miradent plaque test has been tried and tested in dental practices for years. The tablets colour plaque strikingly. Older plaque appears blue, whilst newer plaque appears pink.
To carry out the plaque test, place one tablet (or half a tablet for children, if necessary) on the tongue, bite it and spread it around the mouth with a little saliva, then spit it out – that’s it! The staining can be easily removed by simply brushing your teeth. miradent Plaque Test tablets are erythrosine-free.
