Micral-Test® urine test strips are used to detect albumin in urine. Detect nephropathies (diseases of the kidneys or kidney function) at a reversible stage!
Micral-Test® is a visual urine test strip for the immunological detection of microalbuminuria (MAU). The Micral-Test® delivers results in just one minute, with the quality you’ve come to expect from Roche. The semi-quantitative test detects even the smallest amounts of albumin in urine (cutoff 20 mg/L). The test therefore supports you as the earliest clinical marker in the diagnosis of nephropathy or serves as an indicator of an increased risk of cardiovascular events.

What is the purpose of microalbuminuria testing?

Instructions for use
- Immerse the test strip in the urine sample: Immerse the test strip in the urine (first morning urine after waking) for 5 seconds, ensuring that the liquid level is between the two black lines. Do not touch the side of the container when immersing or removing the strip.
- Wait for the incubation time: Place the test strip across the top of the sample container.
- Read the test result: After 1 minute, compare the colour of the test field with the colour scale on the test strip tube label. The reading time may be extended to up to 5 minutes, as the colour remains stable for that long.
