Mepore® is a self-adhesive, absorbent wound dressing for the treatment of low to moderately exuding wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions.
- an absorbent wound dressing with an integrated, non-adherent wound contact layer
- a self-adhesive edge with a water-based polyacrylate adhesive. The polyacrylate adhesive is skin-friendly and free from organic solvents. The adhesive surface is covered with a protective paper that enables sterile application.
- A breathable outer non-woven fabric that provides physical protection for the wound.

- Size: 20 x 9 cm
- Wound pad size: 15 x 4.5 cm
Application
- Clean the wound according to clinical standards. Dry the skin surrounding the wound thoroughly. The use of moisturisers, gels or ointments on the skin surrounding the wound can impair adhesion and should be avoided.
- Remove the protective film and apply the adhesive side to the skin without stretching the dressing. Ensure that the absorbent dressing covers the wound.
- Gently press the edge to ensure correct adhesion to the skin.
- When changing the dressing, take the dressing on one side and slowly pull it off the skin in the direction of hair growth.
