Indications

Mepilex Heel is an absorbent wound dressing specially developed for a wide range of low to moderately exuding wounds on the heel. When applied to the heel or ankle, Mepilex Heel effectively absorbs exudate, thereby minimising the risk of maceration 8,5,2. Thanks to Safetac® technology, there is only a minimal risk of trauma to the wound or the surrounding skin when removing Mepilex Heel 8-5. Safetac also ensures that Mepilex Heel does not adhere to the wound bed, but lies gently on the skin surrounding the wound. Mepilex Heel can be easily secured with Tubifast® 1,2.
