The sports drink contains vitamins, minerals, trace elements and arginine. The semi-essential amino acid L-arginine increases the NO concentration in the blood and thus improves the blood supply. Betaine, the colouring agent in beetroot, has a similar effect to arginine and promotes blood circulation in the muscles. The two active ingredients thus reduce muscle fatigue and at the same time accelerate the breakdown of lactate.
