Medicomp® sterile non-woven dressings are absorbent and sterile dressings for wound care. They are ideal for post-operative care, outpatient wound treatment and the management of minor injuries.
The non-woven dressings are made from a blend of viscose and polyester fibres. The viscose content is between 67% and 70%, with the remainder consisting of polyester fibres. The dressings are free from binding agents and optical brighteners, are breathable, have a four-ply construction and are available in various sizes. The dressings can be unfolded if a larger size is required.

Indications
The non-woven compresses are intended for general wound care, including during surgical procedures, and can be used as a primary wound dressing for injuries, for the initial cleaning of wounds and for cleaning intact and injured skin, as a carrier material for topical preparations (e.g. disinfectants, ointments), as a secondary wound dressing for acute and chronic wounds, as a protective wound pad and to absorb bodily fluids. They can also be used as a mechanical barrier.
Composition
The non-woven compresses consist of a blend of viscose and polyester fibres. The viscose content is between 67% and 70%; the remainder consists of polyester fibres.
