Medicomp® sterile non-woven dressings are absorbent and sterile dressings for the treatment of wounds. They are ideal for post-operative care, outpatient wound treatment and the treatment of minor injuries.
The non-woven dressings consist of a mixture of viscose and polyester fibres. The viscose content is between 67% and 70%, with the remaining portion consisting of polyester fibres. The compresses are free from binding agents and optical brighteners, are permeable to air, have four layers and are available in various sizes. The compresses can be unfolded if a larger format is required

Application
The non-woven dressings are intended for general wound care, including surgical procedures, and can be used as a primary wound dressing for injuries, for initial cleansing of wounds and for cleansing intact and injured skin, as a carrier material for external preparations (e.g. disinfectants, ointments), as a secondary wound dressing for acute and chronic wounds, as a protective wound pad and for absorbing body fluids. They can also be used as a mechanical barrier.
