Medicomp® extra non-woven compresses 6-fold, non-sterile are highly absorbent and lint-free compresses made of soft non-woven fabric. They are ideal for general wound care, e.g. for injuries, cuts or burns.
The non-woven compresses consist of a mixture of viscose and polyester fibres. The viscose content is between 67% and 70%, with the remainder consisting of polyester fibres. The compresses are free from binding agents and optical brighteners, are permeable to air, have four layers and are available in various sizes. The compresses can be unfolded if a larger format is required.

Areas of application
- The non-woven dressings can be used as a primary wound dressing for injuries, for initial cleansing of wounds and for cleansing undamaged and injured skin, as a carrier material for external preparations (e.g. disinfectants, ointments), as a secondary wound dressing for acute and chronic wounds, for absorbing body fluids and as a mechanical barrier.
