Product information "Marmot oil 100 % natural"

View package leaflet

Marmot oil 100 % natural is for external use. Marmot oil or fat has been used externally in folk medicine since time immemorial.

In Kazakhstan, the entire marmot is utilised. The meat is consumed there, the fat is left out for our purposes and the skins are used in the clothing industry. The marmot oil is obtained from the fat of the marmots. These are killed in the course of hunting. Kazakhstan is home to the steppe marmot (Marmota bobak). The population is estimated at around 2.5 million animals. Marmots are not protected and therefore do not fall under the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species.

Purity: Our marmot oil is unadulterated and 100% natural. The fatty acid pattern is suitable for checking that there has been no mixing with the fat of other animals.
