MACUSAN® plus is a food supplement with antioxidant properties. It contains a combination of essential nutrients comprising vitamins, trace elements, omega-3 fatty acids, as well as a carotenoid (lutein) and a plant extract (ginkgo).
The formulation has been carefully balanced to provide valuable support to the essential nutrients obtained from the diet. The carotenoid lutein accumulates in particularly high concentrations in the central region of the retina, where the photoreceptor cells are located. Lutein acts as a light filter and can protect the eye from harmful sunlight. Its antioxidant properties help to protect the eye from the harmful effects of free radicals. The ingredients support metabolism, and ginkgo has a soothing and revitalising effect on the entire human body. Macusan plus is used during the ‘recharge’ phase. Initially, the lutein stores in the macula of the eye are rapidly replenished.
