MOMOSAN® Black Wound Pads (15x10x3 cm) are ideal for coarse mechanical debridement and efficient exudate drainage. The sterile polyurethane foam with tubular structure promotes wound healing & a healthy wound environment.
What is MOMOSAN® Black?
- Polyurethane foam with a controlled 95% open cell structure and "soft" surface for use in negative pressure therapy (NPWT).
- Suitable for installation (emulsions, solutions or suspensions of liquid medications)
- Can be used as a wound cleanser for mechanical debridement
MOMOSAN® Black in the wound
Mechanical debridement as a wound dressing:
- The cut edges of the cell bars are ideally suited for mechanical debridement due to their special structure.
- MOMOSAN® black can be used in the wound for this higher mechanical stimulus.
- As soon as exudate forms, a layer of MOMOSAN® white can be placed on top to absorb the exudate.
- Wound irrigation is possible despite the wound being filled (instill irrigation)
Negative pressure wound therapy:
