MELOLIN – the low-adhesion wound dressing is made from a cotton-polyester blend with high absorbency. The polyester coating on the side in contact with the wound reduces the risk of it sticking to the wound, ensuring a pain-free dressing change. Its particularly high exudate absorption capacity allows for longer intervals between dressing changes, thereby supporting cost-effective wound care. The reverse side of the dressing is fitted with a water-repellent top layer, which minimises the migration of moisture from the dressing to the outside.
