Lysoform Hospisept® wipes: surface disinfection of medical devices, 100 ST

Lysoform Hospisept® alcohol-based wipes are suitable for the targeted wipe disinfection of medical devices. They offer a practical and quick solution for everyday use in medical settings and in practices.

Indications

• For the disinfection and cleaning of small surfaces and for the disinfection of medical devices, such as contact lenses for diagnostic purposes, dental units, etc., and for the antimicrobial pre-cleaning of endoscopes
• Suitable for use wherever spraying is not possible and rapid drying is important
• Hygienic hand cleaning

Properties

• Broad spectrum of activity: effective against bacteria (including TB), yeasts, enveloped viruses, rotaviruses, noroviruses and adenoviruses

• Gentle on the skin, surfactant- and fragrance-free
• Unlike other surface cleaning and disinfection wipes, for which, in accordance with BGR 250 / TRBA 250, gloves must be worn during disinfection, the Hospisept® wipe can be used with bare hands .
• Suitable for any emergency kit (ambulance, air ambulance) .
• Not classified as hazardous waste after use.

Directions for use

• Cut open the sachet and place it back in the container. Clean and disinfect the lid with an unscented preparation (with a spectrum of activity including at least bactericidal, yeasticidal and limited virucidal effects), e.g. Fugaten unscented. Feed the first wipe from the centre of the roll through the guide slots in the lid. Screw the lid back onto the dispenser and close the lid flap securely, as you would after each wipe is taken. Wipe the surface (ensuring it is completely saturated at all times!) and allow the solution to take effect until dry (approx. 5 minutes) .
• Warning and storage instructions: Flammable! (Flash point according to DIN 51755: 26 °C). Store this medical device in a cool, dry place away from frost, away from sources of ignition and out of the reach of children. Do not allow the wipe to come into contact with the eyes. Do not treat alcohol-sensitive plastics, such as acrylic glass. Shelf life after opening: 6 months. Do not use after the expiry date.
• Hazard statements: Warning! H226 – The liquid and vapour are flammable. H319 – Causes serious eye irritation. H336 – May cause drowsiness or dizziness. P210 – Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition. No smoking. P233 – Keep container tightly closed. P305 + P351 + P338 – IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Continue rinsing after removing any contact lenses. P337 + P313 - If eye irritation persists: seek medical advice. Ingredients

Composition – 1 wet wipe contains on average: 1.1 g propan-1-ol, 0.32 g 96% ethanol, butan-2-one, dibutyl adipate, purified water.
