Lysimun Oral Solution for Cats is a feed supplement designed to strengthen cats’ normal immune defences.

A palatable solution for oral administration, providing dietary support for the cat cold complex and other conditions associated with a weakened immune system (such as gingivitis/stomatitis complex, etc.).

The formulation of Lysimun utilises the specific properties of its nutrients and biological additives to promote recovery and strengthen the immune system in cats. The addition of the amino acid L-lysine and the protein lactoferrin supports the treatment of viral infections in cats (e.g. caused by herpes and/or caliciviruses). Regular administration has proven effective in reducing symptoms and the recurrence of episodes. Yeast cell wall components, such as 1,3 / 1,6 β-glucans, promote the activity of macrophages and other specialised cells that defend the body against pathogenic organisms.

The β-glucans contained in Lysimun are encapsulated in liposomes (very small vesicles made of phospholipids). These enable the controlled release of the β-glucans and their optimal absorption in the gut. Vitamins B5, B6 and B12 support energy metabolism, have a positive effect on appetite and possess epithelial-protective properties. Furthermore, they promote the health of the lymphatic tissue in the upper respiratory tract.

Directions for use

Adult cats (4–5 kg): 1.0 ml 1 to 2 times daily.
Kittens (1–3 kg): 0.5 ml 1 to 2 times a day.
Kittens (under 1 kg): 0.25 ml 1 to 2 times a day.

Ingredients

Composition: Fructose, yeasts (1.3 / 1.6 β-glucans), oils and fats, milk and dairy products (lactoferrin), vitamins.
Analytical constituents: Protein 4.4%, fat content <0.1%, crude fibre 0.5%, inorganic matter <0.1%.
Additives per kg: Amino acid: L-lysine (monohydrochloride) 50,000 mg. Vitamins: Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid as calcium D-pantothenate) 600 mg, vitamin B6 100 mg, vitamin B12 100 μg.
