Lomatuell® Pro Gel-Forming Contact Mesh Sterile is an innovative wound care solution that promotes the healing of acute wounds such as cuts, burns and post-operative wounds. With a gel layer of Vaseline and hydrocolloid particles.

Areas of application

• Wound healing phases: exudation phase, granulation phase, epithelialisation phase
• Chronic wounds: leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure sores
• Acute wounds: lacerations, cuts and abrasions, second-degree burns
• Post-surgical wounds: secondary healing surgical wounds, split-thickness skin removal sites
• Can be combined with negative pressure therapy as a wound spacer*) *) based on in-vitro studies

Application

The recommended dressing change interval is usually 2-4 days. Depending on the type and healing progress of the wound, the dressing can be left on the wound for longer (up to a maximum of 7 days) or shorter

Ingredients

Composition: Polyester fibre mesh tulle impregnated with a coating compound consisting of polymer matrix (an elastically deformable fixing compound), Vaseline and hydrocolloid.
