Physiological function of the nutrients

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal functions of the skin, gums, teeth, bones and cartilage. The vitamin increases the absorption of iron, contributes to the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E and protects cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the nervous and immune systems and to normal psychological function. Vitamin C also reduces tiredness and fatigue.
