Dietary food for special medical purposes (supplementary balanced diet). Due to the special orthomolecular formulation and dosage for the dietary treatment of patients with serotonin and noradrenaline deficiency.
Physiological function of the nutrients
- Zinc contributes to normal DNA synthesis, normal fertility and normal reproduction. Zinc also contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair, nails and bones. Zinc contributes to normal metabolic processes of fatty acids, carbohydrates, macronutrients and vitamin A. The contribution to normal cognitive abilities and a normal acid-base metabolism is also important. Zinc helps to protect cells from oxidative stress and contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
- Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism and a normal electrolyte balance and has a function in cell division.
