Leukoplast® Elastomull® is a reliable, non-slip and crease-free fixation bandage that offers patients a high degree of freedom of movement. It is used to secure wound dressings, particularly on highly mobile and tapered parts of the body as well as on joints.
A fixation bandage should fit securely, be non-slip and crease-free, whilst allowing the patient to retain a high degree of freedom of movement. Leukoplast® Elastomull® meets these requirements. The fabric’s long-lasting elasticity, combined with high resilience and a large stretch reserve, enables quick and economical application.
Leukoplast® Elastomull® is a highly elastic fixation bandage. The crimped weave structure ensures good adhesion. The individual layers need only overlap by approximately one-third. The particularly high cotton content and the light, airy woven structure give Leukoplast® Elastomull® comfortable wearing properties (high moisture absorption; prevents sweating and itchy skin) and ensure particularly good skin compatibility.
