Lemon Pharma MELATONIN+ is a three-component formula for restful sleep. The sleep hormone melatonin, which helps reduce the time taken to fall asleep, has been effectively combined with the mineral magnesium, which supports the nervous system, normal mental function and muscle function. Furthermore, the supplement is uniquely distinguished by the inclusion of passion flower extract, which has proven particularly effective in cases of nervous restlessness.
Why is sleep so important?
- Adequate sleep is important for well-being. Sleep consists of several sleep cycles. Important processes take place in the body whilst we sleep. Phases of rest and relaxation alternate with phases of deep sleep. Experiences are processed and what has been learnt is stored. The amount of sleep a person needs varies. Generally speaking, however, most people need at least seven to eight hours’ sleep per night.
What is melatonin?
- Melatonin is a hormone produced in the digestive tract and released in the dark. It helps you feel tired and fall into a restful sleep. However, the older you get, the less of this hormone your body produces. In addition, factors such as stress, an irregular sleep pattern and the many light sources in cities inhibit the body’s own production of melatonin. Taking melatonin before going to sleep helps to compensate for this deficit.

Directions for use
- Adults: Take 1 capsule once daily in the evening with plenty of water. Ensure you have at least 6 hours of sleep afterwards.
- Notes: People who have long-term sleep problems, are taking medication, have chronic illnesses or are taking other sleep aids, as well as those who are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding, should consult their doctor before taking this product. Do not drive or operate machinery whilst taking melatonin. Do not consume alcohol whilst taking this product. Avoid taking this product if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.
