Lecicarbon® suppositories are a laxative (CO2 laxative) with the active ingredients: Potassium hydrogen tartrate, sodium hydrogen carbonate. The suppositories produce carbonic acid after insertion into the rectum.
This has a stimulating effect on the mucous membrane, stimulates bowel movements and increases the willingness to defecate. The carbonic acid produces carbon dioxide, a naturally occurring gas in the intestine, which is formed under natural conditions by the breakdown of carbohydrates and cellulose.
Indications
- For the treatment of constipation of the large intestine and rectum in adults and adolescents (12 - 18 years), e.g. with a low-slag diet or lack of exercise, as well as with illnesses that require an easier bowel movement. For bowel evacuation during diagnostic or therapeutic measures in the rectal area.

How to use
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, dip a suppository briefly in water approx. 20 minutes before the desired evacuation and insert deep into the rectum. In particularly stubborn cases of constipation, insert a second suppository after 20 to 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- The active ingredients in one suppository are 0.9 g potassium hydrogen tartrate and 0.54 g sodium hydrogen carbonate.
- The other ingredients are: Cocoa butter, hard fat, soya lecithin, talc.

Lecicarbon-Zäpfchen
Ein schnell wirkendes Abführzäpfchen .Bei starker Verstopfung kann man auch ein Zäpfchen mehr geben.Sehr zu empfehlen.
