To preserve the good ingredients in your milk, the way it is stored, frozen and defrosted is crucial. By purchasing Lansinoh® breast milk bottles, you have made a good decision! Because the special breast milk bottles from Lansinoh are ideal for expressing, storing and freezing breast milk. Lansinoh® breast milk bottles are made of polypropylene, the preferred material for storing breast milk - guaranteed bisphenol A-free.

Each bottle holds 160 ml of liquid. An easy-to-read scale on the edge of the bottle makes it easy to measure the amount of milk in the bottle. The bottles are compatible with all Lansinoh breast pumps and the NaturalWave® teat - it enables babies to maintain the sucking pattern they have learnt at the breast. The bottles are also ideal for storing breast milk in the freezer - thanks to the silicone disc, which can expand during freezing, they are completely leak-proof.

The breast milk bottles can be cleaned in the dishwasher and then sterilised if necessary. The Lansinoh® breast milk bottles are supplied with 4 bottles with lids and caps.

Thawing and warming the Lansinoh® breast milk bottles

• To preserve the valuable ingredients of your breast milk, it should be thawed gently in the refrigerator or at room temperature for several hours. You can also thaw the breast milk in a water bath (max. 37° C). Store thawed milk in the refrigerator until it is needed. Do not store breast milk in the refrigerator door, it is not cold enough there. Any leftover breast milk that has already been warmed up must be disposed of.
• Caution: Do not use boiling water or a microwave to warm the milk!
• Tip: If the milk in the bottle forms different layers, mix the layers by gently shaking. Thawed milk sometimes changes its flavour. Therefore, consume older breast milk first. You can also mix it with milk that has been pumped out promptly. Thawed milk can sometimes have a soapy odour. This is due to the breakdown of milk fats. This milk can be drunk, but if the baby refuses it, try mixing it with fresh milk. However, if the milk smells sour or rancid, please do not feed it.

Breast milk bottles from Lansinoh - warnings

• Keep individual parts out of the reach of children - Do not clean with abrasive cleaners or solvents. Material damage!
• When not in use, store in a dry and protected place.
• DO NOT HEAT BREAST MILK IN THE MICROWAVE! Heating in the microwave changes the composition of the milk. In addition, hot spots may form in the milk, which could burn your baby.
• Do NOT thaw breast milk in hot or boiling water.
