What is photolyase and what is it good for?
Photolyase is a natural enzyme extracted from blue-green algae. It is used in products such as the Ladival® Sun-Stressed Skin Acute range to support the regeneration of sun-stressed skin. After sun exposure, photolyase helps to repair DNA damage caused by UV radiation by dissolving stuck DNA bases, which leads to a calming of sun-induced redness and feelings of tension. It utilises the natural mechanism of photoreactivation to prevent skin damage caused by UV-B radiation and promote the skin's own regeneration, both during and after sun exposure

How to use
- Gently cleanse and dry the skin after sun exposure. Apply the Acute Fluid and allow it to absorb. Re-apply cream as required. If you wish to use moisturising skin care products afterwards, please wait 30 minutes so that the photolyase liposomes can develop their regenerating effect.
- Extra tip: Place Ladival® Sun-Stressed Skin Acute Fluid in the refrigerator shortly before use!
