This rich oil-in-water emulsion nourishes and moisturises with hyaluronic acid, providing an ideal base for make-up. Not only does it effectively protect against sun-induced cell damage, but it also actively supports the skin’s regeneration through photolyase. The lightweight formula glides gently and protectively onto the skin without causing eye irritation, pilling (clumps of product on the skin) or leaving white residue – making this water-resistant lotion the perfect everyday companion.

Why use a special sun cream for sensitive skin?

This makes the right sun protection all the more important, alongside a balanced skincare routine. What is photolyase and what is it used for?

Photolyase is a natural enzyme extracted from blue-green algae and used in products such as Ladival® Sensitive & Normal Skin Sun Protection Lotion to support the regeneration of sun-stressed skin. After sun exposure, photolyase helps to repair DNA damage caused by UV radiation by breaking down bonded DNA bases, which helps to soothe sun-induced redness and tightness. It utilises the natural mechanism of photoreactivation to prevent skin damage caused by UV-B radiation and to promote the skin’s own regenerative processes, both during and after sun exposure.

Directions for use

Apply the sun protection gel generously to the face, neck, décolletage and hands. Allow it to absorb thoroughly before applying make-up or other facial products. Reapply as needed – especially after swimming or sweating. Using too little sun cream reduces the sun protection factor.
