Thanks to its ultra-light, oil-free and emulsifier-free formula, the sun protection gel is quickly absorbed and provides an ideal base for make-up. It not only provides effective protection against sun-induced cell damage, but also actively supports the skin's regeneration process through photolyase. The non-comedogenic formula is gently and protectively applied to the skin without causing eye irritation, pilling effects (lumps of product on the skin) or leaving white residue - making the sun protection gel the perfect everyday companion.

Why special sun cream for allergic skin?

Allergic skin is particularly sensitive and reacts strongly to the sun's rays. It is therefore essential to protect it with a special sun cream. These must be formulated to be particularly non-irritating in order to prevent skin reactions such as redness, swelling or itching.

What makes 4-fold cell protection so special?

The sun's rays come in different wavelengths. They have different effects on the skin, but all have a damaging effect on cells. It is therefore important to use a sunscreen that provides all-round protection. Thanks to its unique 4-fold cell protection, Ladival® Allergic Skin Sun Protection Gel protects against UV-A and UV-B rays, the effects of infrared-A radiation and visible light (including blue light). This also protects the skin from premature, sun-induced skin ageing.

What is photolyase and what is it good for?

Photolyase is a natural enzyme derived from blue-green algae and is used in products such as Ladival® Allergic Skin Sun Protection Gel to support the regeneration of sun-stressed skin. After sun exposure, photolyase helps to repair DNA damage caused by UV radiation by dissolving stuck DNA bases, resulting in a calming of sun-induced redness and tightness. It utilises the natural mechanism of photoreactivation to prevent skin damage from UV-B radiation and promote skin regeneration, both during and after sun exposure

What else should I bear in mind if I have allergic skin?

Skin that is prone to irritation requires special emulsifier-free care after a day in the sun in order to avoid allergic reactions the next time you go out in the sun. Conventional lotions contain emulsifiers that remain in the skin for up to 24 hours. In the case of sun allergies and Mallorca acne, it is therefore advisable to use a special care product such as Ladival® Allergic Skin Après Care Gel.
