LEITNER Lifecare Methylene Blue 1%, is a deep blue solution used in various applications including histology, microbiology, biology and the textile industry.

Methylene blue was first produced in 1876 and is the first patented "tar dye". In histology, methylene blue 1% is often used as a staining reagent to visualise nucleic acids and cell structures.
