LACTOSOLV® tablets are a food supplement with 17500 FCC lactase per tablet to improve the digestion of lactose in lactose intolerance.

In the case of lactose intolerance, lactose can no longer be absorbed from the small intestine and therefore cannot be utilised by the body. Lactose is made up of glucose and galactose. These simple sugars are nutrients that can be easily absorbed and utilised by the body. This is why the natural lactase enzymes in the small intestine normally break down the lactose during digestion.

The enzyme neutral lactase contained in LACTOSOLV® breaks down the lactose locally in the intestine and thus takes over the function of the body's own lactase, which is lacking in cases of lactase deficiency.

Dosage

• Take 1-3 capsules, depending on the lactose content of the meal, with a little water immediately after a meal/drink containing lactose.
• If you have difficulty swallowing the capsule, you can also open the capsule and consume the contents unchewed with water. One capsule breaks down approx. 29 g of lactose during the intestinal passage. This corresponds to approx. ½ litre of milk.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended intake.
