Zinc is of the utmost importance to the body. The human body contains approximately 4 g of zinc, which is essential for growth and the proper functioning of the metabolism. Zinc is found in all organs, as well as in erythrocytes (red blood cells) and leukocytes (white blood cells). Bones, skin, hair, nails and the reproductive organs have particularly high zinc levels.
Science has now confirmed that more than 200 enzymes are zinc-dependent: no other micronutrient is of greater importance for enzyme formation. Enzymes are proteins without which many important reactions in the body would proceed very slowly or not at all.
The most important sources of zinc are liver, lentils, yellow peas, wholemeal wheat, white beans, meat, wheat bran, maize, oat flakes and chicken eggs.

Directions for use
- Take 1 capsule daily with a meal, with plenty of liquid.
- Notes: For prolonged use, we recommend taking additional copper to prevent a copper deficiency. Do not use during pregnancy (or when trying to conceive) or whilst breastfeeding.
