Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is a precursor of vitamin D, which is converted into physiologically active vitamin D in the body. Our body can produce vitamin D3 itself: with the help of sunlight in the cells of the skin. However, the intensity of light and therefore the production of vitamin D3 is influenced by many factors, such as the position of the sun, the weather, etc. Everything that comes between the bright sky and the skin can have an impact on the body's own vitamin D production. For example, the intensity of the sun between November and April in our latitudes is considered too weak for sufficient vitamin D to be produced in the skin.

This supplement is also suitable for small children - Vitamin D3 Baby may only be used under medical supervision.

Vitamin D3 Baby contains coconut oil and vitamin D3, but no alcohol. It is therefore also suitable for babies and children. The exact ingredients are vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) from coconut oil (origin: South East Asia) and some vitamin E to protect against oxidation. One bottle of Vitamin D3 Baby contains 408,000 IU of vitamin D3. Dosing is child's play with the practical dropper pipette. One drop contains 400 IU of vitamin D3.

Vitamin D is produced in the skin with the help of sunlight. However, sunlight is often not sufficient for this. In addition, good sun protection is particularly important for sensitive baby skin. However, the body's own vitamin D can then no longer be produced.
