Kingnature Amaro Vida drops are a high-quality herbal bitter containing an extract of 14 herbs. Fresh spring water is combined with a herbal extract from 14 different bitter plants to create these naturally produced drops made from bitter herbs.

A bitter flavour – but no bitter aftertaste

Admittedly, a bitter taste is not usually love at first sip. Especially not these days, when bitter compounds have largely been bred out of our food. Vegetables that were originally very bitter, such as endive, radicchio, chicory or kale, hardly taste bitter at all nowadays. We are no longer used to the bitter taste and therefore do not like it, at least not straight away. However, we can re-acclimatise our taste buds to this almost forgotten flavour and develop a new appreciation for bitterness.

Which substances taste bitter?

The substances that taste bitter to us are chemically very different compounds. They are sometimes also referred to as bitter principles. Many toxins in plants have a high bitterness value, which is why certain bitter plants are inedible or even poisonous to humans and animals.

Bitter herbs in Amaro Vida

Amaro Vida contains an ethanolic herbal extract made from the following 14 bitter herbs:

Wormwood
Artichoke
Chicory root
Cloves
Olive leaves
Gentian root
Ginger root
Juniper berries
Dandelion root
Quassia wood
Papaya leaves
Hyssop
Thyme
Melilot

Alcohol content: 30% vol. No added sugar, sweeteners, additives, excipients, colourings or preservatives. Amaro Vida is produced using natural methods: a slight cloudiness is a sign of the quality of the herbal extract.

Directions for use

We recommend taking 20–25 drops daily, either undiluted or diluted with water, during or after a meal. Do not exceed 60 drops per day. Shake the bottle well before use!
Notes: For children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, place the required number of drops on a cube of bread, wait 5 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate, and then consume.
